These bizarre theories and beliefs were prevalent throughout the 1800s when dentist Pierre Fauchard created many of the instruments used in dentistry that would later evolve into the tools is used nowadays. Although society started to adapt to new tools but it wasn’t until 1875 that the first electronic drill was made patentable.

There are many theories and approaches that revolve about tooth pain. It’s intriguing to find out about and I’m thankful that we’re able to practice the procedures that we have today.
